From January through September 2020, Uzbekistan has exported confectionery products for $4.1 million, Trend reports referring to the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
For 9M2020, 4,058 tons of confectionery products in the amount of $4.1 million have been cleared under the export customs regime in Uzbekistan.
The volume of exported confectionery products for the same period last year amounted to 1,847 tons.
Revenue from the export of confectionery products this year increased by 87 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to the State Customs Committee, 39 percent of confectionery products were exported to Kyrgyzstan and 29 percent to Tajikistan.
In addition, this year, the export of confectionery products to China increased 5.1 times, to Afghanistan - 4.9 times, to Armenia - 4.4 times.
To date, confectionery products are exported from Uzbekistan to the markets of nine countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia.
