The bulk of Uzbekistan's fish products over the past nine months have been exported to Turkey, Trend reports referring to the State statistic Committee.
The export volume of fish products from Uzbekistan to Turkey from January through September in value terms amounted to $589,000, while in physical terms it amounted to more than 149 tons.
Foreign exchange earnings from the export of fish products increased by 35 percent.
According to the State Customs Committee, the bulk of Uzbekistan's fish products for 9M2020 has been exported to Turkey, amounting to 84 percent.
In addition, this year, the export of fish products to Tajikistan has increased seven times, while the export of fish products to Kazakhstan increased 30 times.
The total volume of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production for 9M2020 amounted to 180.1 trillion soum ($17.4 billion), increasing by 3.4 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
Some 97.1 percent of the total volume of products in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries for 9M2020 falls to the share of crop and livestock farming, hunting, and services provided in these areas (for 9M2019 it amounted to 97 percent), 2.5 percent - forestry (2.5 percent), 0.4 percent - fisheries (0.5 percent).
