Uzbekistan has exported over 119,400 televisions and 32,400 refrigerators since the beginning of the year, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
The volume of televisions exported from Uzbekistan for 10M2020 in value terms amounted to $13.8 million. The country's foreign exchange earnings from the export of TVs increased by 35 percent compared to the same period last year.
Some 32 percent of the total amount of products was exported to Azerbaijan, 24 percent to Kazakhstan, 21 percent to Russia, and 8 percent to Ukraine.
At the same time, the export of TVs to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan over the past ten months has increased 2.2 times, and the export of TVs to Georgia and Turkey has also been established.
As for refrigerators, the volume of refrigerators exported from Uzbekistan for the reported period in value terms amounted to $5.2 million
The country's foreign exchange earnings from the export of refrigerators increased by 58 percent compared to the same period last year.
Some 44.6 percent of the total refrigerator production was exported to Tajikistan, 17 percent to Kyrgyzstan, 15 percent to Azerbaijan, and 11 percent to Kazakhstan.
This year, the export of refrigerators to Afghanistan increased 28 times, to Turkmenistan - 30 times and 57.2 times to Russia.
In addition, this year the export of domestic products to Georgia and Turkey was established for the first time.
