Enter Engineering ("Enter" or "Group"), one of the biggest EPC contractors in Uzbekistan, has announced the updated information on selected priority projects for 2020 and outlined the plans for 2021, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek media.
The construction of the new plant of Navoiazot company is almost completed. Thanks to the additional production facilities for the production of ammonia and carbamide, this plant is of national importance.
Modern energy-saving technologies will be introduced at the plant. The completion of construction will allow meeting the domestic agricultural demand for carbamide and providing additional mineral fertilizers for grain and cotton crops. The products will also be exported to neighboring countries in Central Asia and beyond.
The licensors are the Danish Haldor Topsoe company (ammonia), the Italian multinational Saipem company (synthesis), and the German Uhde Fertilizer Technology group (granulation).
A ceremony was held to launch a new plant for the production of PVC, caustic soda, and methanol in December 2020. After the completion of the construction of the plant, 900 new jobs were created.
