Qatari company eyes to co-op with Uzbekistan in creation of modern greenhouses

Qatari Al Qamra Holding is interested in the implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry through the implementation of joint projects in the creation of modern greenhouses, Trend reports citing Uzbek embassy in Kuwait.

According to the information, an online meeting was organized between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and the Qatari company Al Qamra Holding with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait.

During the meeting, the Qatari side was provided with information about the deep reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan's agriculture, as well as the creation of favorable conditions and preferences for foreign investors and promising investment projects for joint implementation.

The Qatari side expressed interest in the implementation of investment projects in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry through the implementation of joint projects in the creation of modern greenhouses and farms for growing agricultural products and fodder plants for animals using leading irrigation technology.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on providing the Qatari side with additional information on promising investment projects being carried out in Uzbekistan, as well as the organization of a visit to Uzbekistan for a delegation from Al Qamra Holding headed by President Hamad Saleh Al Qamra.

Al Qamra is a large holding in Qatar that brings together a number of companies specializing in agriculture, construction, real estate, chemicals, education, and healthcare. The holding owns commercial and residential real estate in Doha, London, Paris, and other foreign countries.
