Uzbekistan imported 7,700 passenger cars worth $150.9 million from January through May 2021, according to the country’s State Statistics Committee, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
Countries that imported the largest number of passenger cars in the first 5 months of 2021:
Korea - 42.7 million
China - 41.1 million
Russia - 30.5 million
Kazakhstan - 8.8 million
The US - 6.7 million
Thailand - 6.6 million
Poland - 4.6 million
Germany - 3.9 million
Lithuania - 2.5 million
Japan - $2 million.
In the reporting period, $4.6 million was spent on imported electric vehicles.
