Total amount of the assets of Uzbek banks reached 403.8 billion soums ($37.8 million) by the end of September 2021, Trend reports citing statistics of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
The volume of the assets of state banks amounted to 332.5 billion soums ($31.1 million) from January through September 2021, which is in comparison to the same period of the last year 276.2 billion soums ($25.8 million), having increased by 20 percent.
Private banks’ volume of the assets amounted to 71.2 billion soums ($6.6 million) from January through September 2021, showing an increase of 33 percent.
For comparison, from January through September 2020 assets of the private banks amounted to 53.3 billion soums ($4.9 million).
