The largest number of food products of Uzbekistan was produced in the country’s capital Tashkent city in the amount of 9.9 trillion soums ($917.6 million) from January through October 2021, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
It is followed by the Tashkent region, which volume of food production amounted to 7.1 trillion soums ($658 million) during this period.
The Samarkand region closes the top three regions of Uzbekistan in terms of volume of food production for 10 months of 2021.
