Uzbekistan’s Uzcharmsanoat Association plans to increase the volume of industrial production to 4.8 trillion soums ($443.5 million) and to raise export indicators to $450 million in 2022, Trend reports via the press-services of the association.
Out of this amount it is planned to use $218 million for the implementation of 136 projects within the framework of investment and regional programs of Uzcharmsanoat.
The volume of production at the enterprises of the association amounted to 4.4 trillion soums ($406.5 million) in 2021.
Also, in 2021 the enterprise of the association produced 115 million pairs of shoes, and leather goods in amount of 112 billion soums ($10.3 million).
The enterprises of Uzcharmsanoat exported products in amount of $437.1 million this year.
In addition, within the framework of investment and regional programs, 204 projects worth $202 million have been implemented in 2021.
