United Cement Group holding acquired a state share in amount of 86.92 percent in the capital of Uzbek Kyzylkumcement JSC, Trend reports via the press-service of the State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan.
The state assets agency reached an agreement on the sale of state share of the company to United Cement Group for 1.89 trillion soums ($174.8 million).
Deloitte,an international consulting company, acted as the lead consultant of the agency on this transaction.
The appraisal of the state block of shares of the company was carried out by the international Grant Thornton appraisal organization. Additional legal support to the agency was provided by the international Dentons law company.
United Cement Group has been operating in the cement market for over 20 years, specializing in the production of general and special grades of cement and other high quality building materials in Central Asia.
