Uzbekistan shares domestic COVID-19 data for January 17

Uzbekistan has confirmed 935 new COVID-19 cases on January 17, 2022, with 679 patients recovering from the disease, and 4 people dying, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Health.

In particular, 466 people with coronavirus were identified in Tashkent city, 134 people in the Tashkent region. In other regions: 23 people in the Andijan region, 28 people in Bukhara region, 32 people in the Jizzakh region, 9 people in Navoi, 39 people in Namangan region, 57 people in Samarkand region, 24 people in Syrdarya, 26 people in the Fergana region and 33 people in the Khorezm region.

Up until now, 207,057 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 199,872 of them have recovered. The recovery rate currently stands at 97 percent.
