The share of private business in the industrial sector of Uzbekistan reached 121.7 trillion soums ($11.2 billion), which is an increase of 18.1 percent compared to 2020 (103 trillion soums, or $9.4 billion),Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, the share of private business in the construction sector of the country increased by 21.7 percent compared to 2020 (63.8 trillion soums, or $5.8 billion), reaching 77.7 trillion soums ($7.1 billion) .
The share of private business in the field of agriculture, fisheries and forestry amounted to 307.2 trillion soums ($28.2 billion), which is an increase of 21.3 percent compared to 2020 (253.2 trillion soums, or $23.3 billion).
In 2021, the share of private business in trade sector increased by 52 percent compared to 2020 (164.1 trillion soums, or $15.1 billion), reaching 249.4 trillion soums ($22.9 billion).
