BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Uzbekistan plans to adopt Azerbaijan's experience in growing hazelnuts,Trend reports via Uzbek Ministry of Agriculture.
In this regard, on May 11 this year, the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, it was noted that this year marks 20 years since the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of agriculture between the two countries.
At the moment, Uzbekistan is considering the issue of sending domestic specialists to Azerbaijan who will be trained in the field of growing hazelnuts.
In addition, it is planned to receive seedlings of various varieties of hazelnuts from Azerbaijan, which will produce a stable and large harvest.
