BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. Uzbekistan plans to expand the export of cherries to China, Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
In this regard, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, together with the Consulate General in Guangzhou (China) organized an online meeting between representatives of the Uzbek Uz-Segang LLC and the Chinese Guangdong Electric Shore SCM Technology.
During the meeting, the potential of Uzbekistan for the export of sweet cherries was presented with a detailed description of the main parameters, taste, planned export volumes and logistics routes.
The chairman of the Chinese Guangdong Electric Shore SCM Technology company expressed interest in importing Uzbek fresh cherries to China, as a result of which the parties agreed to supply a trial batch by air from the Fergana Valley to Guangzhou.
Guangdong Electric Shore SCM Technology, which was established in 2019 is an importer of exotic fruits, frozen vegetables, fresh beef, lamb, chicken, seafood, and more.
The company provides China's large wholesale markets, supermarkets, e-commerce sites, institutions, large hotels, state-owned enterprises with high-quality foreign products.
