BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. The production of tractors has increased in Uzbekistan from January through March 2022,Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, from January through March 2022, 58 tractors were produced in Uzbekistan.
This figure increased by 31.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
In accordance with the presidential decree of July 31, 2019, a new system of state support for production and purchase of agricultural machinery was created.
In particular, only in the first quarter of this year, subsidies worth 23 billion soums ($2 million) were allocated for the purchase of 1,600 pieces of equipment.
As a result of the modernization of production facilities carried out in 2021, the cost of tractors decreased by $4,600.
