BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. The volume of imports to Uzbekistan worth $12.1 billion from January through May 2022, which is an increase of 32.3 percent compared to the same period last year ($9.2 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, imports from the CIS countries amounted to $4.5 billion, and from other countries - $7.6 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through May 2022 increased by 37.4 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($14.9 billion), reaching $20.5 billion.
