BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 13. Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia will enhance cooperation in the field of agriculture,Trend reports via the Uzbek Ministry of Agriculture.
Recently, in the city of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), a meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Water Resources and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on cooperation in agriculture to expand trade in agricultural products between countries.
At the meeting, the Saudi side stressed the importance and readiness to sign memorandums of cooperation in the field of agriculture and in the field of veterinary medicine and livestock development at the upcoming high-level visit, and an agreement was reached to strengthen cooperation in the agricultural sector to expand trade in agricultural, livestock and other products between the countries.
By agreement, after the signing of the memorandums by the two countries, relevant roadmaps will be prepared, including specific measures and directions for the development of cooperation and joint projects.
