BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. Uzbekistan imported over 6,000 heads of small cattle from Russia in 8.5 months of 2022, Trend reports via Russian Rosselkhoznadzor Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
Among live animals exported from Russia, the largest number of live cattle went to buyers from Uzbekistan (more than 7,100 heads), which more than doubled purchases of this type of product.
Over the specified period, more than 114,700 heads of pigs, and large and small cattle were exported from Russia.
Rosselkhoznadzor will continue to work on diversifying the export flows of live animals from Russia.
