BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. The value of imports to Uzbekistan amounted to $16.8 billion from January through July 2022, which is an increase of 23.7 percent compared to the same period last year ($13.6 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, imports from the CIS countries amounted to $6.3 billion, and from other countries - $10.5 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through July 2022 increased by 29.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($21.8 billion), reaching $28.1 billion.
