BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. Uzbekistan may start exporting finished leather to Spain, Trend reports via the Uzbek Uzcharmsanoat association.
This was discussed at the meeting held at the Uzcharmsanoat association with the Spanish XGE company.
During the meeting, the Spanish side announced its initiatives to establish cooperation with entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan and to bring finished leather to the Spanish market.
The management of the Uzbek association offered the Spanish company cooperation in two directions. The first is the implementation of export-import operations with enterprises producing finished leather, and the second is the production of finished goods in the country on the basis of outsourcing and franchising together with Spanish brands.
The head of the XGE company expressed readiness for cooperation in both directions. To start joint work, he proposed to hold bilateral negotiations with Uzbek enterprises.
