BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. Uzbekistan’s IT Park opened a representative office in Heidelberg, Germany, Trend reports via the press service of IT Park.
The opening ceremony took place on November 16 with the participation of the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov and IT Park Director Farkhod Ibragimov.
The event was attended by heads of a number of German companies. They were introduced to the conditions and preferences created for IT Park resident companies.
At the event, documents were signed on the development and implementation of joint research, and academic exchange as well as a series of lectures and seminars between IT Park and Germany’s Brandenburg University.
As a result, it was agreed to implement joint projects in cooperation with German IT and logistics companies to increase the export of IT services.
At the end of the ceremony, B2B meetings were held between IT Park residents and German enterprises that attended the ceremony. Representatives of the companies got acquainted with each other's activities, held negotiations, and exchanged contacts on issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Opened in the summer of 2019 IT Park specializes in launching and bringing promising start-up projects to the Uzbek market.
