BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 23. French and Uzbek companies reached bilateral agreements on the implementation of priority projects of trade, economic, investment and financial cooperation worth more than 6 billion euros, Trend reports via the press service of the president of Uzbekistan.
On November 22, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron held talks in Paris.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and France discussed plans for further expansion of bilateral cooperation. As noted at the meeting, the number of joint ventures and initiatives has tripled in recent years.
The total portfolio of projects involving French investments exceeds 5 billion euros.
As a result of the talks, the parties signed 14 bilateral documents.
In addition, documents were drawn up on cooperation in the field of civil aviation, education, civil service development, etc.
