BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. The value of Uzbekistan’s trade turnover with the CIS countries amounted to $15.8 billion from January through October 2022, which is an increase of 26.9 percent compared to the same period last year ($12.5 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
From January through October 2022, exports from Uzbekistan to the CIS countries amounted to $6.3 billion, while imports from these countries amounted to $9.5 billion.
During this period, trade turnover with other countries increased by 19.2 percent compared to the same period in 2021 ($20.3 billion), reaching $24.2 billion.
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $40.1 billion from January through October 2022, which is an increase of 22.2 percent compared to the same period last year ($32.8 billion).
