Russia's company to supply radioisotope products to Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 22. The Sverdlovsk Kvant company of Russia has signed an agreement on the supply of radiation protection equipment and radioisotope products to Uzbekistan, Trend reports.

The Sverdlovsk Kvant firm will provide radioisotope items and radiation-protective gear made for gamma and neutron well logging, a technique used in geophysical research, the paper said. Cooperation between the businesses was considered at the "INNOPROM. Central Asia 2023" international trade show, which took place in Tashkent in April of this year.

Five IBN-8-5 type neutron radiation sources and five IGI-C-4-2 type gamma radiation sources will be supplied to Uzbekistan by the end of 2023, according the signed contract. These sources will all be contained in sets of specialized transport packaging.

At the exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia 2023", Kvant held negotiations with Eriell, an oilfield services company specializing in the construction and workover of wells for leading companies in the oil and gas industry in Central and South Asia, as well as in the Middle East.

Sverdlovsk entrepreneurs actively participated in B2B negotiations with potential partners from Uzbekistan. Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev led the regional delegation at the event.
