TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 29. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has adopted resolutions approving agreements signed earlier with Qatar, Trend reports.
According to the official source, the resolutions approved agreements between the Governments of Uzbekistan and the State of Qatar on mutual promotion and protection of investments, on the elimination of double taxation with respect to income taxes and on the prevention of tax evasion.
These agreements were signed on June 6, 2023 in the city of Samarkand (Uzbekistan), and the Uzbek Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, as well as the Tax Committee, were appointed authorized bodies responsible for the implementation of international treaties.
After the entry into force of these international treaties, the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of the relevant ministries and departments began to monitor the implementation of its provisions in accordance with the established procedure.
