TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 3. Uzbekistan’s Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov and French Airbus Helicopters company discussed cooperation in the field of aviation medicine, Trend reports.

During the talks, the parties talked over Uzbekistan’s purchase of 10 Airbus H-145 helicopters for the ambulance system, as well as the organization of medical aviation in Uzbekistan according to European standards, including in mountainous hard-to-reach areas.

Airbus H-145 is a multi—purpose helicopter that can be used to provide urgent medical care and perform law enforcement functions, as well as for passenger transportation. The compact size allows for safe operations near hospitals and in urban densely populated areas.

Uzbekistan is actively taking measures to develop its medicine field, as earlier this year an agreement was reached with Siemens Healthineers, specializing in the manufacturing of medical devices, on the supply of medical equipment to Uzbekistan.

The company is set to supply medical equipment to public and private medical institutions in Uzbekistan, as well as create service centers for its maintenance, organize joint training of specialists, and introduce innovative technologies in the field of medicine.
