TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 27. Uzbekistan’s Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) has exported $645.4 million worth of industrial products from January through November of 2023, Trend reports.
As per data provided by AMMC, the list of exported products with their export value looks as follows:
copper products - 55,175 tons worth $453.3 million
zinc products - 41,007 tons worth $109.6 million
molybdenum products - 813 tons worth $46.4 million
copper sulfate - 4,842 tons worth $10.2 million
Moreover, value of other types of products exported by AMMC amounted to $25.9 million in the reporting period.
Earlier this year, AMMC launched the first and only production of ferromolybdenum in Central Asia.
It is planned to reach production worth 170 billion Uzbek soums ($13.9 million) worth of ferromolybdenum products by 2025.
The company plans to reach the 2,000 kg mark monthly in production of the special alloy. The combine has already sent 5,500 kg to Uzbekistan’s Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC.
