TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 16. The number of installed ATMs and info kiosks in Uzbekistan totaled 26,917 from January through February 2024, Trend reports.
The data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan shows that Uzbekistan’s Xalq Bank has the largest number of ATMs and infokiosks (3,178). Aqrobank follows with 2,152 installed ATMs and infokiosks during this period.
At the same time, Uzbekistan‘s payment organizations installed 11,239 ATMs and info kiosks in the country.
Uzbekistan’s Saderatbank has the smallest amount of installed ATMs and infokiosks (2), while Avo Bank did not install any ATMs and infokiosks in the country during this period.
Meanwhile, a total of 430,264 payment terminals were installed in Uzbekistan from January through February 2024. The volume of revenues through payment terminals reached 47.5 trillion soums ($3.7 billion) during this period.
At the same time, the number of installed ATMs and infokiosks in the country totaled 26,917 from January through February 2024, while the number of bank cards in circulation in Uzbekistan amounted to 47.1 million.
