TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 5. Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will undertake a working visit to Bishkek on November 5-6, at the invitation of President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, to attend the forthcoming session of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Trend reports via the Uzbek President’s Office.
The source pointed out that the upcoming summit will put the pedal to the metal on boosting multilateral cooperation within the organization.
Key topics will include strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, and investment ties, fostering business exchanges, and deepening cultural and humanitarian interactions.
Leaders will also discuss pressing international and regional issues. It’s in the cards that the summit will bear fruit, leading to the adoption of a handful of joint decisions and documents, including the Charter of the Turkic World, which came to light thanks to Uzbekistan’s initiative.
