TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 7. Uzbekneftgaz JSC (the oil and gas company of Uzbekistan) and Russia's Tatneft Oil Company have reached an agreement to collaborate on further developing geological exploration research, Trend reports.
The dawn of this new venture was heralded after a gathering of the representatives from both enterprises.
The meeting was all about bringing foreign company know-how and cutting-edge technologies into the mix at Uzbekneftegaz's operations, digging into the nuts and bolts of innovative projects, and tightening the ties in the ongoing partnership between the two companies.
In addition, Tatneft's leadership received an update on the Modeling and Drilling Management centers built at Uzbekneftegaz, as well as the Digital Field initiatives.
Subsequent to the discussions, both firms consented to accelerate the transfer of knowledge regarding essential matters.
To recall, the World Bank also earlier articulated its commitment to delivering financial backing for initiatives spearheaded by Uzbekneftegaz focused on mitigating methane emissions.The two parties also explored opportunities for investing in projects aimed at improving energy efficiency, increasing gas production, and cutting methane emissions.
