Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 August / Trend / The fire, which began at the National Gulustan park in the Northern Khorasan province of Iran in the morning of 15 August, is still going on. Firemen faced difficulty to extinguish the fire, the Iranian IRINN news agency reported.
According to the head of the Iranian Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry's Department on Gulustan, employees of the Gulustan Fire-Prevention Department were sent to assist to the employees of the Northern Khorasan Fire-Prevention Service.
Cause of the fire is being clarified.
The National Gulustan park occupies 91 hectares and is located in the east of Gulustan. Half of the park is located in Northern Khorasan and Simnan and another half in Gulustan province.
