Military exercises entitled Ali ibn Abutalib have been launched in south and south-western Iran, ILNA reported. The military exercises involve Iran's Land Forces. The exercises are held in Khuzestan, Ilam and Lorestan and cover an area of 67,000 square kilometers. The exercises aim to enhance military power of various branches of Iranian Land Forces.
Ali ibn Abutalib military exercises have been organized by commanders. The exercises also aim to improve communication between headquarters, staff and reconnaissance services, Deputy Commander of Land Forces of Iran General Kaimars Heydari said. The training will last three days.
