Ahmadinejad will enhance ties with India: Singh
Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has congratulated President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on his victory in Iran's presidential election,reported Press TV.
"There is no doubt that your continued cooperation will further enhance the bilateral ties between Iran and India in a way that will serve the two countries' national interests," the Fars news agency quoted Singh as saying in his message to Ahmadinejad.
The Indian prime minister noted that Tehran and New Delhi share similar stances on regional issues and highlighted the importance of Iran's ties with India.
Iran's 10th presidential election was held on June 12.
