Saudi Arabia seized three Iranian boats while they were entering its regional waters in the Persian Gulf, a Saudi official has reportedly said.
Saudi Coast Guard spokesman Colonel Muhammad Al-Ghamdi put the number of Iranian sailors arrested in the incident at nine, Press TV quoted IRNA as reporting on Saturday.
According to the report, the Saudi official said investigations show that those arrested were fishing.
