Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khomenei expressed confidence that the region would witness Israel's collapse, at a meeting with Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
"Sooner or later it will happen, but it depends on the activities of Islamic countries and Muslims," he was quoted as saying by the Iranian news agency IRNA.
According to him, last year's gap between Mauritania and Israel could serve as a good example for some Arab countries.
Israel is a source of great danger to the Islamic world and it strives to improve its prestige and to continue the aggressive policies in the region, he added.
Moreover, he provided information about the possibility of deploying U.S Armed Forces in Africa.
