An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale jolted the Heftgel town in the Khuzestan province of Iran today, IRNA reported.
The Seismological Center under the Tehran University's Geophysics Institute registered the quake at 06:03 local time.
There are no reports on the number of possible casualties or damage to properties by the quake.
