Mottaki: Big powers using sophistry to cover up their weak logic
Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said hegemonic powers indulged in sophistry to cover up their weak logic in front of Iran.
He made the remarks here Monday while addressing the opening ceremony of the second grand meeting of the Iranians living abroad, IRNA reported.
He said the big powers tried to cloud the issue to make up for their weakness in dealing with Iran's logical stances.
He stressed that the hegemonic powers indulge in use of power and clouding the atmosphere now that they see themselves defeated against Iran's rational approaches and manners.
The foreign minister believed that all such attempts aimed at diverting the attentions from the main issues.
Mottaki further stressed the fact that Iran has always been acting rather transparently in all areas.
Iranians living in other countries started here their meeting with the participation of some senior Iranian officials.
The two-day meeting is being held at the Islamic states summit conference hall in northern Tehran.
About 1,200 Iranians residing in different countries were expected to take part in the event.
