No option for Palestinians but resistance - Larijani

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Saturday there is no option for Palestinians but resistance, ISNA reported.

"There is no way but resistance and nobody will offer Palestinians' rights," Larijani said in the international conference hosted by Tehran.

"The issue of Palestine is painful for our history and the people of Palestine are under severe pressure," he said.

Larijani turned to destruction of mosques or giving time for talks and said, "the issue shows that the regime is not in a stable condition and suffers internal political pressure and that it is declining strategically."

He went on to say that reconciliation negotiation is one of problems faced by Palestine which gave an opportunity to Zionist regime and humiliated Palestinians.

Larijani referred to the US President Barack Obama words' on support for Palestinians (when he had came to power in 2008) and said, "we said he would back Palestinians, but we have not seen any measure by him so far, we have not seen anything except insult to al-Aqsa Mosque, mass immigration and putting Palestinians in jail, we found that despite a change in the US presidents, the mechanism of the country remains unchanged."

"The change in the tune of the US seeks creating a chance for Zionist regime."

Larijani added that the Islamic Republic of Iran proposes a referendum in Palestine joined by the displaced where all people can declare their views.
