Foreign Minister of Iran Manouchehr Mottaki arrived in Cotonou heading a high ranking delegation on Saturday evening, IRNA reported.
The Iranian senior delegation was welcomed by Benin foreign minister at the airport.
Mottaki is scheduled to discuss issues of mutual interest with Benin President and other senior officials of this west Africa country.
The Iranian delegation started its visit to several African countries last Wednesday and has visited Burkina Faso, Ghana and Togo so far.
