Special envoy of president of Kyrgyzstan Emil Kaptagaev praised Tehran's support for Bishkek in a meeting Sunday with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
   
Kaptagaev is the first Kyrgyz official who visit Iran after the latest political developments in that country, IRNA reported.

He submitted a message from Kyrgyz President Roza Otunbayeva to President Ahmadinejad.

The message reads that Bishkek is interested to promote bilateral ties and cooperation with Tehran through useful interactions.

Captagaev told President Ahmadinejad that Kyrgyzstan was willing to boost bilateral cooperation with Iran in economic and cultural fields and in dealing with regional developments.

President Ahmadinejad welcomed the idea, noting that the two capitals should also increase mutual cooperation in regional and international scenes.

The Iranian President stressed that Tehran supported strengthening of peace and stability in Kyrgyzstan.
