Iranian movie Digari (The Other) has won the Best Children's Feature Film award in the 2010 edition of the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA), Press TV reported.
The awards ceremony of the fourth APSA film festival was held in Gold Coast, Australia on Thursday.
The Iranian movie was directed by Mehdi Rahmani and produced by Mohammad Ali Najafi. Mohammad Reza Foroutan and Merila Zarei played the main roles in the movie.
Winners are determined by an international jury which is headed this year by British filmmaker Lord David Puttnam.
Other nominees for Best Children's Feature Film were Boy (New Zealand), Bran Nue Dae (Australia), Echoes of the Rainbow (China/Hong Kong) and Udaan (India).
Chinese film Aftershock won the Best Feature Film award and best achievement for directing was given to Lee Chang-dong from South Korea for his film Poetry.
The Asia Pacific Screen Awards are the highest accolade in film for the Asia-Pacific region.
