The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI)held a meeting with members of the Iran Chamber of Commerce with the purpose of extending trade relations between the two sides.
IRNA quoted the director of International Affairs of the ICC as stating aside from trade needs and suggestions of the CACCI, its members can take measures for training and research which will lead to an increase in trade.
Mehdi Fakheri noted that CACCI members are interested in operating in five main fields including food and agricultural products, petrochemicals, tourism, construction and engineering services and investment.
CACCI President Benedicto Yujuico pointed out that there are 27 member countries with over 3 million economic agents in the Confederation eager to enhance their trade and industrial cooperation.
