Iranian acting Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is to meet with German Under-Secretary of Foreign Affairs Wolf-Ruthart Born on Wednesday, ISNA reported.
The two sides are to discuss bilateral issues as well as global developments.
Wolf-Ruthart Born has arrived in Iran for talks with Iranian senior officials.
Iran has already arrested two German nationals following their illegal interview with son of an Iranian woman Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani.
Ashtiani who was to be stoned after adultery and murder of her husband is sentenced to 10 year jail term.
Iranian officials have said that the Germans who entered into Iranian territory are not reporters and their trial process is underway.
