Iran Ambassador to Lebanon Ghazanfar Roknabadi in a meeting with Lebanese new Prime Minister Najib Mikati in Beirut discussed issues of mutual interest with him on Tuesday, IRNA reported.
Roknabadi, after the meeting, said that the latest regional developments, especially Lebanon, the issue of cooperation between the two countries and 25 signed agreements were discussed.
He appreciated the efforts of former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri in this direction and added that the two sides talked about implementation of the agreements.
Referring to the recent problems in Lebanon, the ambassador said that Iran's stance is to invite all Lebanese groups to dialogue and creation of understanding in direction of serving the interests of country.
