Iran says its satellites ready to be launched

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said on Saturday that the country's satellites are ready to be launched, ISNA reported.

"The satellites have been prepared, but decision on date of their launch will be made later," he said.

He also added Iran is to unveil some space and electronic projects as well as defense and missile achievements.

Iran has already said that it would launch space and missile projects during Dahe Fajr (ten-day dawn) which started on February 1st.

As to remarks of British Defense Secretary Liam Fox that Iran may produce atomic bomb by 2015, he said, "their comments are unfounded. These remarks are in line with political and psychological plots."

Also regarding security of Bushehr nuclear plant, Vahidi said, "Bushehr's security is good, appropriate and sufficient and there is a particular kind of security inside the plant."
