Two people executed in Iran
Two people, accused of smuggling and drug use, were executed in the Iranian city of Sanandaj, FARS news agency reported.
According to the information from the prosecutor's office, these people were executed this morning in the central city jail.
Roughly 60 people, accused of drug smuggling and rape, were executed in Iran over the last month.
UN and "Amnesty International" have repeatedly called on Iran to stop executions. According to the human rights defenders, the actual number of executions in Iran exceeds the official statistics data.
