Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad returned to Tehran late Thursday after inaugurating eight petrochemical projects in Bushehr province, IRNA reported.
One of the projects is Amir Kabir Light Petrochemical Polyethylene worth $310 million with a production capacity of 300,000 tons a year.
The project was completed despite foreign companies' refusal to continue cooperation in the project under the pretext of the sanctions imposed on Iran by the US and EU.
It was the President's 86th provincial visits.
