An earthquake measuring 3.9 on Richter scale jolted surrounding areas of Galledari in Iran's mid-south province of Fars on early Sunday, IRNA news agency reported.
According to the report of seismography centre affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 04:07 hours local time ( 00:37 hours GMT) and its epicentre was at 27.85 degrees latitude and 52.82 degrees longitude.
Galledari is located in south of Fars province somewhere close to border between Fars and Bushehr provinces.
