Iran condemns US attempt to suppress protests
Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct. 8 /Trend, A.Gurbanova/
Iran calls US police to stop suppressing protests over economy crisis, ISNA reported quoting Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast as saying.
"Peaceful protests in recent weeks indicate objection to unfair economy and power of big financial companies in US political system which affect government decision," he said.
He noted Wall Street crisis indicates deep concerns of American citizens over capitalist system.
"US incorrect policies created problems for its people. We think the government should focus on domestic problems by removing its forces from the region and spend the costs on public sectors and improve living conditions," he added.
