Iraqi Kurdistan region's president to visit Tehran
Iraqi Kurdistan region's President Masoud Barzani is going to visit Iran on Saturday, Representative of Iraq's Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in Iran Nazem Dabbagh said, ISNA reported.
He would hold talks with Iranian senior officials including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani during his two-day visit.
The trip seeks boosting mutual relations on cultural and economic relations. It also shows that there is no conflict in borders shared by Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan region, he added.
Dabbagh also continued officials of Iran and Iraq's Kurdistan region will discuss regional issues including withdrawal of the US forces from Iraq.
